WHAT INSPIRES ME

What inspires me is how people can design or make art out of literally anything. I remember I was watching The History Channel and they had on Man’s Modern Marvels. On the channel they were making old shipping containers into restaurants and houses. I thought that was a really “out of the box” idea. I really didn’t think much of it until I was riding the bus one day. I looked out the window and saw a line of people waiting for their lunch outside, and they were getting their lunch out of an old shipping container. This got me pondering, “Could I make low-income apartments out of shipping containers?”  I can respect how people can convert unused resources into eco-friendly products to better our ecosystem.
It reminds me of a quote I heard a long time ago about how another man’s trash is another man’s treasure. We already clutter the earth. To keep our ecosystem healthy for future generations, we should lighten our global footprint on the earth. As the human race we should use what we have already instead of making new things.

  1. I think your idea of making low income housing from shipping ocntainers is a good idea and completely possible. one of the building at CCSF is made completely of recycled material so it will definetley be useful. Ones man trash is another mans treasure that can be used for multiple useful purposes in this world. The fact that art even catches ur eye is amazing beacause not everone has the pateince to acknowledge real art.
