I was Kentucky-sitting on my butt all day long, watching my brother’s kids. One day, I decided that I wanted more out of my life, so I made the decision you move back to California. When I got back, I didn't realize how slow the economy was and it was extremely difficult to find a job. I had to find another solution because it didn't matter that I graduated high school. I did my research and decided to attend Treasure Island Job Corp. When I arrived, I was told to pick two trades I chose security as my first choice and my second choice was plastering. I was accepted into my first trade security. I was extremely excited as well as nervous about starting this program because i didn't know what to expect.
