What is a job that you would never want do?
A job that I would not like to do would have to be being an EMT. I don’t think I could deal with death and the stress of having someone’s life in my hands on a day to day basis it would be overwhelming for me. I mean I freak out at the sight of blood and faint so far so that the EMT’s would have to come pick me up. I don’t understand how EMTs can do this all day and be able to go home and sleep at night. The thing I would see would haunt me in my dreams. the horrors that EMTs see every day .but even through all of that I would save lives so I guess sometimes you have to take the good with the bad cause I rather be there saving a life then not be there at all I still say become a EMT would not be a job for me but I do appreciate the people who can handle things like that cause without them I would have some of the family members I have today like my dad, sisters little boy, and my grandma rest in peace. Thank you very much for determination and hard work. Some goes for all the firefighter’s, doctors ‘and police officers etc. and all the other people I couldn’t think of. Thank you for your transience.
I once took an EMT class. I have no problem with dealing with blood and things like that, it was all the memorization of different things that really got me. I was sure I would freeze under the pressure of trying to remember the information, so I never went to get my qualification after the class.
ReplyDeleteI found it funny that you said EMT because this is one of my career paths that I am currently looking into. Why does the site of blood make you squirmish and pass out? does it have the same effeect on you when you bleed? you said the thing you would see would haunt you in your sleep? does scary movies do the sme thing to you? if not you should probably try to approach bloody or squimish situations as if it were a movie.
